For the past few years my wife and kids have already been searching high and low for the perfect holiday destination that has something for all those family to help keep everyone fully entertained, but simultaneously offers peace, quiet and right environment to be able to immerse oneself in, totally unwind and obtain off the treadmill so to speak. We have been for some really nice spots during our search, but in all of the experiences we enjoyed, each one of these was missing one or more of the key ingredients that we all agreed as being entirely necessary in order for all of us to be totally satisfied and content. The spot we found that has something to keep us all entertained and happy would be a relatively unspoiled 20km stretch of sandy beaches about the Andaman coast using a tropical jungle backdrop. -The region is known as Khao Lak and it is roughly an hour's drive from Phuket International airport, and within Khao Lak is 3 main tourist spots; Bang La On, Khuk Khak & Bang Niang. Khao Lak literally means Lak Mountain and there's a nature reserve about the mountain that produces for one from the local attractions which we thoroughly enjoyed during our nature walks and guided Jungle treks. Each of the three spots are fairly quiet, and have accommodations including the height of luxury all the way through to the backpackers spots to offer something for all budgets and make this quaint, beautiful location in Thailand obtainable for all to see. Actually if you like the more quiet aspect while on holiday then Khao Lak isn't just somewhere which is perfect like a family location, but also for anyone who is planning to unwind and relax anyway, and in my estimation it makes for your ideal honeymoon location with there being many attractions that are impressive and interesting, while not being too flashy and intrusive. In order to go and Khao Lak with an especially peace and quiet of year then I would advise going through the low season months which are from April-November.
Like I pointed out earlier in this article; there are accommodations to accommodate all budgets and appeal to most tastes as well as in a place to lay their head. We opted for renting a villa within a resort as we know from experience that will make our lives easier using their being staff on all during most hours to support us with everything we needed. So throughout the days we're able to leave the children to enjoy themselves with regardless of the Kids Club had organised for your day, while we would go off on our scooter or on the guided tour to research the nearby attractions and places of interest - which there are lots of. The Villa also were built with a stunning sea view on the beach that based on local people had the most effective, most beautiful sunset within the province. The beach is your ideal, soft, sandy type as well as the sea water is warm so when clear as can be, actually deep-sea diving is known to be quite enjoyable in this field as there is lots of sea life and lots of interesting things to see.
